Jamton goes live on mainnet — and why Telegram's 1B+ users matters for RWA

CurioInvest's June 2025 post announced Jamton on TON mainnet. Here's what it actually means: a multi-chain RWA layer that ties Ethereum's DeFi liquidity to TON's distribution surface.

“Jamton is Now Live on Mainnet — Unlocking Real-World Asset Markets on TON. As recently announced we're excited to share that Jamton — the RWA infrastructure layer — has officially launched on mainnet!”

On 16 June 2025, CurioInvest announced: Jamton is Now Live on Mainnet — Unlocking Real-World Asset Markets on TON. The post explained the strategic angle (Telegram's 1B+ user surface as a distribution channel for tokenised assets), and the technical angle (multi-chain RWA infrastructure spanning EVM and TON).

Why this matters

Until Jamton, an RWA token had two lives:

  • EVM life: in the Ethereum/Polygon/Solana ecosystem, available to DeFi users, smart-contract composable, but accessible only to crypto-native investors
  • Telegram life: 1B+ users, but no programmable money

Jamton stitches them together. An RWA token issued on Polygon can be bridged to TON, made accessible to Telegram users via Wallet, and used inside the TON DeFi ecosystem. A retail user with a Telegram wallet can now buy a tokenized real estate share that lives on Polygon.

What this changes for an issuer

For a CFO, the practical impact:

1. Distribution surface: 1B+ Telegram users can now access a tokenized offering. The compliance layer (KYC, accreditation) sits on the Jamton bridge — investors on Telegram are screened before they can buy the EVM RWA. 2. Liquidity: the EVM token can be used in DeFi (Aave, Compound, Maker, etc.); the TON side connects to TON's growing DEX ecosystem. Same asset, two markets. 3. Mobile-first UX: the typical RWA retail investor isn't on MetaMask. They are on Telegram. The Jamton path is the only one where a Telegram user can buy a tokenized share in 30 seconds without leaving the app.

What this means for a CFO planning 2026 issuance

The CFOs in our pilot calls are increasingly asking about retail reach, not just institutional reach. The institutional path is well-trodden (the CMTAT v3.0.0 + DLT-Act framework). The retail path is new. Jamton is the only thing on the market that does it credibly.

For a CFO in a jurisdiction where the institutional RWA market is small (B2C retail brands, mid-market consumer companies, asset managers looking for distribution), Jamton changes the math. A CHF 5M issuance on Polygon via EVM-only is 50 institutional subscribers. A CHF 5M issuance on Polygon + Jamton is 50 institutionals + 5,000 retail.

The integration story for our dashboard

CurioExtract is integrating Jamton at the wallet layer. A user who issues a receivable on Polygon will be able to opt into a "retail tier" that bridges the token to TON via Jamton. Same CMTAT, same compliance rules, two audiences. The dashboard surfaces both chains, both audiences, both order books.

That's the practical value. The 1B+ Telegram user surface is not a marketing line — it's a real distribution surface for tokenised receivables, and Jamton is the first working way to reach it.
